Shortly after this post was generated, I made a negative comment about my success at growing this plant but the post inspired me to try another one. (I have learned from experience that not all plants are the same.) I purchased a plant at a modest price and was very impressed when it arrived, at the quality. It was growing in a net pot with six growths. I am pleased to say that it has developed five spikes, all of which are about four inches long. It is growing a few feet from a small fan where it gets watered heavily once per week and misted daily.

Wow~ That must be quite the show.

Mine is still single growth plant, but it has the largest leaf every and working on the second leaf for the season along with ten new roots!

I hope this new plant you got will be a long living plant for you.

Always liked this species. That little orange tip on the column make it!
