Angraecum distichum
Angraecum distichum - cute little miniature with nice growing habit, mounted on the cork and grown outside in the shade :-)

Thank you for sharing and promoting an African species, distichum found through out tropical Africa from West Africa through to Congo and Uganda.
Sadly not found naturally where I live, Zimbabwe.

They are beautiful, I love the growing habit, they look cool even when not in bloom :-)

Cute little white flower=if you put it near your nose you will notice a faint fragrance....when you get to grow it as a specimen it can give you magnificent sprays of bloom....

Once it has flowered it will continue to give you flowers they bloom in profusion in summer but it will continue to give you one or two flowers as the months go....

What light intensity do they like best? I have a nice one potted in small lava rock. I can give it anywhere from Vanda light and down.

Andre I would say mine is in bright shade, less than Cattleya light but more than Phal. It seems to like it.
