Talking Aerangis mystacidii first spike

I'm just so excited- I've had this Aerangis mystacidii for five years, and it's finally spiking! It has 13 buds on a spike about 10 inches long.

Great growing. These are just such beauties, and the scent they give early morning and late afternoon is just fantastic.....

Wonderful! I have a smaller one that blooms. The scent is heavenly. Love the shape of the flowers too!

The flowers are open! This is such a pretty plant.

I haven't detected any fragrance yet, even though the flowers have been open since yesterday evening. I checked before bed, then at 1:00 in the morning, and I've been sniffing at it all morning today, but still nothing. Does it take a couple days to develop?
