Pteroceras teres
Hi there !
Got this one as a gift by an orchid seller identified as Pteroceras sp.
It bloomed next year but I missed it because it lasts only one day ... I finally catch it this year ! I am almost sure it is a Pteroceras teres. It smells like roses to me during the morning.

Thrixspermum spp. suffers the same problem too. The flowers on many of them last no more than 1 day as well. I totally get you on this.
Nice plant. Pteroceras are pretty cool plants.

Those colors on the flower are very pretty together! Too bad the flower doesn't last longer.

Yes I know, I have two Thrixspermum species and I had this "problem", but that's why I like them a lot ahah.

That's a very interesting (and attractive) plant. Too bad about the short lifespan of the blooms--but, as with the blooms of stanhopeas, the fact that the flowers don't last very long would make me appreciate them even more.
