Yes, but a faint musty scent in the evenings, to attract it's pollinator, probably moths.
They make good specimen plants with up to 12 flowers on an inflorescence - one of my favourite African orchids.

I would recommend not to grow them below 10C.
In Europe, you would need to grown in a heated greenhouse.
