Theres a number of the Aerangis that aren't just white. Many are blushed with a salmon or pink like distincta or mooreana, in fact Aerangis mairae is almost all pink.

The green/bronze are nice too.

Good to know. I might have to add them to my "want" list Thanks for the info. That's what I love about the OB. We're always learning from one another

Speaking of learning, I am curious about your tabletop greenhouse setup! I would like to do something similar this winter for a couple of my plants, nothing overly large, I just need some way to keep the plants a bit warmer than they were last winter so that they grow a bit better.

How is yours set up?

I bought a little tabletop greenhouse which I sit on a seedling mat for added warmth. You can find them online - just do a search.

I put a raised egg-crate (plastic grid stuff..) bottom to raise the plants off the bottom which allows me to put water in the bottom for really good humidity. If it is really cold, I'll use warm water.

I've add stick-on hooks on the sides for some of my small mounted orchids which also make better use of the space over all.

There is a hinged door in the top of mine which I can prop open or not. And the entire top lifts off the base making it really easy to access the plants when I need too.

Hope that helps.

Unbelievable, Orchid Wiz lists this orchid by 4 genus names.

The RHS accepted is Aerangis. The other 3 are Microterangis, Chamaeangis, and Angraecum. I think I'll just use Aerangis from now on since it is the RHS accepted genus and it is the easiest to spell

Awesome colour on those blooms. Thanks for sharing. My plants always want to flower when I am away. So frustrating. Especially when you have waited years to see your plant bloom.
