I would compare this to a neo because the single flower is pretty small-- about an inch wide with a 4 inch nectary. The foliage is larger than a neo, though!

Jumellea densifoliata...for some reason the photo is rotated 90 degrees here....maybe the instruction to rotate the photo was in the metadata from the camera that got cut???

Thanks, it's supposed to be very fragrant but it just opened last night so I haven't had the chance to figure that out yet! you almost can't see it but in the second photo the sepal at the top has a little ruffle next to the column, also I love how it is white green and orange, but I think the green fades to white after a bit. It likes to grow like neos, with a bunch of fans next to each other, and since it flowers 1 flower per spike it makes sense to keep the 2 baby fans together on the mount even though it would be great to have a few of these.

Good growing! I like the green and orange too and the overall flower shape.

it is EXTREMELY fragrant....good thing I like how it smells! Just one flower and I can smell it halfway across the house...it really is something.

I ordered it from Andy's right after Christmas and it arrived January 2nd...then about two weeks later it had a knub, along with my Angraecum didieri, but that turned out to be a keiki instead of a spike. Also the Angraecum calceolus I purchased at the same time started but held it's spike-knub for about a month and a half and now it's growing again.

A rarity. Andy must have very unusual plants.
