Angraecum species cultures? Male
Talking Angraecum species cultures?

I have an Angraecum sequipidale and two Angraecum aracnites (one in a net basket with treefern and wine cork and the other mounted on a treefern). The Angraecum recently dropped its bloom after I bought it a few weeks ago. And the aracnites were from a curator from a botanical garden who wanted to inspire me even more into orchids. That worked! After all you don't find 16 year-olds interested in plants nowadays.

What conditions do they prefer?

How do you guys grow your plants?

Any good tips that you have discovered that worked for you will be greatly appreciated.

Congratulations on the new acquisitions! If you google Jays internet orchid species, you can lookup the light levels and minimum temperatures for these. The Angracoids, I have, need to totally dry out between waterings to prevent root rot. Hopefully, someone on this site grows the two you mention and can tell you more.

I grow many of my Angraecoid family in net pots sitting in water except at night. I drain the saucer when I shut the g/h down. Most of mine love water but want air to the roots.

I grow my sesquipidale this way and in Catt light. I don't have the other species.
