Aerangis hyaloids spike show
This was surprise xmas gift and first Aerangis for me, arrived in the middle of December with some 3 spikes forming, it started to open finally more today and there is another new spike growing. It is very cute small plant, in 2" plastic basket, sphagnum, bright indirect light. The blooms have no scent and they are gorgeously white, like a snow, so it is great bloomer for our hot Christmas season, I love white orchids!

Michael, you'll love it, small plant, and it seems very vigorous spike producer:-) I read somewhere they do spike themselves to death, but I do not really "agree" to this saying, I think if you provide enough water and fertilizer than they can spike whole year round. My Haraella's are all in spike with 3 spikes each for past 5 months and they are healthy plants:-)

I have this very same plant (but about the half the size) and mine has two small spikes with about four tiny little buds on each.
After seeing your photos, my excitement kind of disappear. lol
but it gives me hope that mine could bloom like yours when it gets bigger in the future.

No worries, this is probably much older plant, once your grows it will have bigger spikes with more buds! I saw pics on Google, and some plants are putting quite a show, but they are much bigger than mine, so I assume, the bigger it gets, more and better spikes it produce! Since this are pretty much mini/small orchids, they do take time to get to "big" stage:-)
