I didn't realize that our water was more beneficial, is it because there are less salts and minerals in the water? |

Yes, thats what I've been told. Not sure how good it is for humans, but the orchids and koi at my home do well with it.  |

hmmmm I wonder why my plant looks so much different?. Curious to see the flowers. Should have tossed out a bud or a flower by now hey?

Here is what mine looks like after I clumsily broke off a spike by hitting it with a large phal leaf. Then I accidentally ripped off a petal. I've moved the plant to a better spot. The flowers are closer together than one you have. I thought water quality issues showed up in the leaves. Hope one of the more experienced people can comment.

mine is just small and tiny with leaves half the size...but nice flowers.

I've seen this species with a bit rounder leaves and lip. Mine has leaves like the rest of you but I have yet to see the blooms! Mine only grows roots and leaves! Mine is potted in CHC.
