Hello. Glad you decided to try one of these guys. Angraecum eburneum, in my experience, likes lots of water. If you grow phalaenopsis, think of it as wanting something around what phals get: moist, but not dripping wet, without a lot of drying in between waterings, at least during the spring-fall growing season. During the winter I let it dry a little between waterings, but it never really wants to become too dry. My suggestion would be to pot it like a cattleya, with some moisture-retaining material in the pot, rather than a vanda. As long as the pot has good drainage, having it in a pot that retains some amount of water should be fine. Good luck with your plant!
