Thanks for the compliment. Yes, it is rare to find the angs here, too, even in orchid displays at shows. That is why I was so delighted to find the elephantinum (a small one). Ecuagena (I think that is how it is spelled) lists seem quite extensive so if you want to find something.... They come to shows here and if you preorder, they will often agree to mail your orchids to you. I see them at one of our Ohio shows but I am trying not to buy more.
I think you have found your answer. So, do most leonis come from Africa?

I have a book titled: Angrecoid Orchids: Species from the African Region. A lot of the ones I like seem to come from madagascar. I've looked for angcm. breve, without success. I like the little ones as I have limited growing space and an unlimited appetite for orchids.

Thanks for the tip on Ecuagena. I've seen them online, I think, but didn't know they came here. Dangerous! The orchid budget is long spent and I need to quit looking. Already today I fell for one from Mountain orchids. Den cuthbertsonii x Den pseudoglomeratum...everyone should have at least one, I think. Who needs food anyway?
