The orchid is very healthy and there will be more blooms. I was actually more amused than disappointed. It was a first blooming and, you know, the orchid seemed to be showing off.
I have three didieri (one is far off from blooming size but is adorable) as well as a Angraecum magdalenae and Angraecum sesquipidale. These last two have some growing to do, yet, before they are blooming-sized but I really love the form of the plants. The blooms are a wonderful bonus. Some people buy palms, I buy angraecums.

Hi Tindo I did keep track of that when someone else asked on a previous thread, but now I can't remember what I said! From memory, each of the flowers so far have lasted a good couple of weeks, but I can't say exactly
