Thanks Tindo, it's now happily putting out new roots. I've grown quite fond of this particular plant - it's tenacious!

This is your third time to try to grow this plant? From what I heard the're pretty easy to grow. The're also rare

I just got one and it came in a plastic pot. Would love to know more about mounting. I was planning to transfer it to a clay pot so it would dry out faster. I don't have any mounted orchids and needs to learn how

I have mine in a plastic #4 basket pot, in fairly large lava rock. I treat it like an angraecum. It does well this way.

Kevinator: I too bought into the notion that this is an easy species to grow. That depends very much on one's growing conditions, and mine were far from ideal. I have it mounted so that I can keep an eye on the roots, they are susceptible to rot. Since I grow quite a few plants mounted, it made sense for me.
