I watched the video on youtube of the guy who sat and sat and sat until this moth that darwin had predicted, with the 9 inch long tongue came along and drank the nectar..amazing..

55 degrees at night is just about whats it been getting and full sun in the A.M. Its a cool night warm day plant..Im glad it was already 3 inch net basket that popped right into my jars after readin that these plants can take years to recover from a repot.

I hope it blooms now that its gotten much warmer at night..hasnt dropped below 70 in about a week now. I hope it isnt blown up.

They take aaaaaages to grow. All the angraecoids are excellent in teaching one patience when it comes to watching their spikes grow, form buds, and an interminable age later, finally open!

it can take as long as 8 months, a grower told me. mine took almost 6. They actually look like mine did before it took off and bloomed,

I agree with Cattleya17 and others who have said that it can take forever. Sometimes it seems that nothing happens for months, and then slowly but surely the spikes grow thicker and longer, and the odd root appears. The plant is not sick, it just takes time, but the blooms are worth it!

Yup. I've found these go one of two ways. They either never slow down and bloom in ~3-4 months once spike is seen. The other is spikes show and then stall for like 6-8 months. Dont know why, but I'm used to this with these guys.
