Angraecum sesquipedale Spike!!!!!
A couple of weeks ago I called one of my contacts in Florida to see if she had any sesquipedale. She said she had had a couple, but they didn't look to good. So, I continued looking, but everybody that sells them sell them for $40 and upwards. I just don't think I could do that for a plant that isn't even in spike. A couple of days after I contacted my seller, I got a package from her delivered to my door. I was anxious to see what was inside of it. When, I opened it I found a Angraecum sesquipedale. I was so happy. And the best part was that it's in spike. I also recieved a schomburgkia tibineana(?). I called her right away to thank her and she told me it was because I am always so nice to her. To repay her, I packed up all of the plants that I didn't want anymore and sent them to her. I believe there were 7 in total. Anyways, here are some pictures of my new baby. Can't wait to see the blooms. The last picture is of the spike as of today.
