All three of the blooms opened. At first I thought it was sesquipedale, but then I inspected them closer and found that they look like the flowers or angraecum veitchii. I googled veitchii and the flowers look exactly like mine. There is only one problem. The plant is relatively small compared to veitchii. It could just be small because it is a first bloom on this plant.
The flowers smelt do good at night. They smelt like a jasmine/gardenia mix. Heavenly to say the least. Sadly I had to cut the spike off today because the flowers faded. I also believe that I was giving the plant too much water causing 2leaves to turn yellow and fall off, and turning 2 others yellow. I took it out of the basket to see if I can save it and found out that the plant was in moss not bark. It has some good roots, but I'm not sure it will make it. I soaked it in super thrive for a half an hour, put fungicide on it, and finally put cinnamon on all yellow parts and exposed fleshy parts. In the morning I am going to pot it up and hopefully it will make it. I will try and post pictures tomorrow. I have been so busy with school these past few weeks and exams are this coming week.
Anyways, if you have any advice on how to possibly save the plant, please feel free to post it. I would greatly appreciate it.
