Thanks for the picture. I love it. Next weekend I am going to get another sesquipedale. I promised that I would get one from him before my seller sent me the other one. So I guess I'll have two. The seller I am buying one from next weekend said the plants leafspans are 21-24 inches. I don't know if that's true, but they are all in spike. I can't wait to go and get it. I believe my mom's fiance's parents got me a giftcard from him. Even less I have to spend.

Please don't forget to post pictures when the bud pops open. Probably within the next week or two. Can't wait to see it.

Oh, almost forgot the link to the page my sesquipedale is on. Here it is.

Im Sure its true This plant will get very large! For now mine is small and should stay that way for a some time!

The Bud has just split open now the fun begins!

What is your setup? How can you keep 61 % humidity at 77 F? I grow mostly on my bedroom's window. now 56% RH and 72 F with humidifier on.
I Posted on the members displays all about my set up Its call hey Guys here's My Setup.

But to give you the short of it. at the time i took this photo in November, The humidity was just excellent!!! 61 was not even the best I've had! I don't know how i did that.

As of now i am using a humidifier to keep the humidity in an appropriate range it does dip to the mid 40's sometimes but i can usually get it back up to 58 and 60
I think it may be the way i have the plants grouped but i honestly dont know. My Angraecum didieri has got 2 buds on it now and is making a new leaf and roots regularly.

The heat- I use the house heating and a small space heater. when i turn on the space heater we get to a toasty 81. Once i forgot to turn it off and it got to a crispy 89 Degrees!
