Spelling - can we get this corrected?
This awesome section of our forum has been in existence for a while now, and the name is still spelled wrong (angrEAcum when it should be angrAEcum), as is the word 'alliance'. Can we get this changed? Thanks mods

Whoa! It is spelled wrong!!!!!! I'm surprised it hasn't been corrected already! I think its because people automatically think that things are spelled correctly when they come here...i know i do! i wonder what else is being missed?

I agree with Calvin. It's got nothing to do with "crazy OCD people" (not an incredibly intelligent comment, either, by the way). It's simply an error he was pointing out that should have, by now, been caught and corrected. Much like the horrendous ad I keep seeing on this site from something (or one) called Callas Orchid for an "Angreacum Ebernum." Seeing that sort of spelling error makes me less inclined to take the grower/writer/website seriously, let alone shell out $150 for a plant that he, she or it can't be bothered to spell correctly.

I guess I should have been a little more clear, as I was referring to myself, which I thought I made clear when I said that grammatical errors drive me up the wall. |
