Angraecum leonis
I've had this plant since a small seedling and having grown it to flowering size, couldn't flower it. A grower friend told me what he does and "bingo". Only one flower but who cares.

Just out of interest, what are your grower friend's Angraecum tips?
I really like angraecoids, and am thinking about getting a bunch, so growing tips are always handy
Congrats on a beautiful flower!

Thanks. This one I couldn't flower, the suggestion was more light so I hung it up with the vandas etc about this time last year. Its in a 110mm squat pot in 2/3 coarse perlite, 1/3 small back & I treat it like the vandas. I have Ang' sesquipedale & eburneum which are much bigger in plant size, I grow them in Coarse bark & perlite, same ratio but on the bench with lots of light.

Gorgeous I have a little one of these in a south window (which it seems to like so far). However, it's still a year or more til it even thinks about flowering. Still, it's something nice to look forward to

Thanks for the good advice. I got a medium seedling last February and it has grown quite a bit over the summer, roots everywhere. Maybe next year I'll luck out. Yours is gorgeous!

Very very pretty orchid! Thanks for sharing the growing tips. I'm getting into Angracoids and slowly getting more, but I still don't know that much about them.
