Angraecum Didieri, my first bloom :)
Hi OB, I bought this little guy a few months ago and I love it to bits When I got it, it had a little bud forming and, now it's fully open, I love it even more
The white of the flower is slightly sparkly and the scent is amazing at night and reminds me of Jasmine. I have it on my dressing table in me bedroom so I can smell it as I go to sleep!
One question though for anyone else who grows these, is there anything that triggers flowering (e.g. light, temp differences etc)? I'd like to know what I can do to encourage more flowers in the future

Two buds! I'm envious! I really am so in love with this little guy I've been researching other Angraecums to look for. Some, it seems, can get quite quite big, which is not what I want, the size of the didieri is perfect!

I agree! i got a Sesquipedale this past winter and im worried about the eventual height and width. but they dont grow that fast so they told me its gonna be a concern a long while down the road. I have a Leonis and its very compact as well!

That is beautiful! My husband just walked past, saw the pictures and commented "WOW! I give you full permission to get one like that!" hahaa!
WhiteRabbit-> Awww...I'm sorry to hear that it didn't do well with you. I doubt I could give it the care it needs yet..
