What a lovely surprise to come home to In a way, I've been quite lucky in that my flower grew on it's side so the spur went horizontally across the pot. Visually, it's obviously not as nice as the have it the right way up with the spur coming down, but it's elegant none the less.

Hi Nenella For the first time last night, the flower didn't have a scent. Throughout today, it's browned and crumpled, so I think I can say it's on its last legs! Sooo, it's lasted nearly 4 weeks, that seems pretty good to me

(unless someone else posts that theirs lasts for 8 weeks!)

Sorry to hear that your blooms have faded. Four weeks is far too short for those who want to enjoy them indefinitely!

Jenny,Thanks for remebering to let us know how long it lasted! I have no idea how long they are 'supposed' to last for but I think 4 weeks is super! I don't think mine lasted that long. Well I have a new bud forming so will see next time...
