First Cover Photo!
Default First Cover Photo!

I am honored that the members of the Florida State Horticultural Society wanted to use some of my ghost orchid photos as the cover photos for the 2010 proceedings guide (a rather thick paperback crammed full of research papers on various crop and nursery plants in Florida). Here are the photos that they chose:

and here's a link to the proceedings contents as an on-line pdf:

2010 Proceedings of the FSHS.

But even cooler than having my photos on the cover, there is an inset inside the front cover that briefly describes Florida's wild orchid diversity, raising awareness of our unique heritage amongst those who live and breath plants in some form or another.

Enjoy!

---Prem

Congrats Prem. Your Ghost Orchid Photos are fantastic and it's great they have been recognised in this way, and helping to raise awareness about the native orchids. Wonderful news!

I have seen a lot of these plants but never one with that many flowers. Tell us your secrets. Oak Hill Gardens has seedlings for anyone who wants to try to grow them for five years to get blooms.
