Angraecum scottianum
First time for me: last year it got buds but it fell off prematurely. The same thing happened with the second bud on this plant: obviously I am doing something wrong

Cute bloom! Love it! And obviously, this bloom didn't get the memo that you were doing something wrong!

How do you grow it? Mine is just miserable. It started last winter, and even though it is putting out a new leaf (ever so slowly) it has lost all but 3 other leafs, even the ones near the top.

I got it mounted on a small piece of cork: it needed remounting but I didn't want to disturb it too much so I took another piece of cork and put the two together (like a sandwich). The plant grows in high humidity (60-80%) in the greenhouse at intermediate-warm temps. It gets a little morning sun (about 2 hours). I have a hydrofogger to keep the humidity up.
It is obviously not strong enough yet to support more than one flower.

Thanks Lars, that really helps. The person I bought it from recommended window sill growing and cattleya light. No wonder mine is miserable!

Wow! I love those flowers, they are my favorite and mine has four spikes this year, so I am hoping is going to have some flowers, and like last year is going to bloom through out of the whole summer.
