HELP! Problems with Aerangis luteo-alba v rhodosticta

This is one mounted Aerangis that is not looking good for me......

I've noticed the leaves are "curling inward" and appear soft, like the plant is dehydrated, but I water it, soak it and spray it.

Does anyone have any ideas on this .....?
Is it possible it has been overwatered? LOL no such thing for a mounted orchid, right? But I'm confused here....

That is a myth. You can overwater mounted plants, especially for some species that require a rest period during the cooler months.
Some mounted plants only need watering once or twice a week while others need daily watering year round, so it all depends on what you are growing...

It sounds like you have been overwatering your Aerangis. Overwatering will cause root rot... Most of the Angraecods need/like to have a light winter rest(Drier).

Edit, if the roots look good, then it could be low humidity.

For a second I was wondering where my post disappeared to, and then I realized that there was a second thread! I saw that you did this also with your CFL thread. Generally it's not a good idea to double post, because you'll be getting advice in 2 different places and posters don't know what may have already been suggested and it's a bit confusing too to follow both of them. It's better to just post in one forum. Don't worry about not getting any help, that rarely happens here!

What the heck??? You are catching me completely be surprise, where have I been not nice to you?? I would think that after so many years on the board if I were not 'nice' and not giving 'positive help' many people would have made me aware of it by now.

Mentioning the double posts was not an attack, I was bringing it up since it's usually more problematic than helpful is most cases. I had put a smiley in that post to make sure you didn't take it badly. Obviously that didn't work, sorry if you took it the wrong way!

Camille is right that posting a question in two places can actually mean that you don't get as good responces as you might want. I believe Camille was just trying to help you.

When all responces to a question are together it can often get a much better discussion of the problem going than if they are spread over several threads, and often as a moderator I would combine two threads to bring all the answers together. I do that just to try and help people.
