@nenella, I have had this particular plant for about three years. The flowers can be short-lived, about 10-14 days if you keep the flowers dry(no water on them). If the flowers get wet, they may only last a week.

@Tindomul, like most of the Aerangis species, it likes low light(~600-800FC), good humidity(60% and up), good air movement also.

Tom, it's beautiful and gives me hope. I see I have to get mine into a lower light situation. I'll be working on that today. Thanks for posting.

This thread has been rated "bad"--two stars by one person... I prefer my thread not to be rated. If you had problem with me or what I posted on this thread, you should say it here openly.

Edit--just did a quick check on the ratings on some of the Angraecoids posted here lately(the last two months or so). I suspect there is an Angreacoid hater in the house. LOL! are you a 12 years old?

A bad thread rating is important?

SOS, and you are? LOL!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, a bad thread rating matters to me if it is not an honest rating.

To be honest I've never paid attention to the ratings thing. I'm not sure why you would give a low rating if you don't like a flower... just ignore the thread if you don't like it.

I'm afraid I can't do anything about it as a moderator... but I'm going to give you a high rating to bring up the average as I really love it!

I certainly am the opposite. I was just curious as your photos are high quality and there is good information. Why not just brush it off? (Aside from the possibility of rating it poorly based on reasons not relating to pictures or culture info.)

and how is that going to solve the problem, SOS? There is a SOB in the house messing around with those threads and I think we should have a way to stop this person from doing that.
