In any case: veitchii is quite nice too. Sorry to dampen your excitement.

It could also be longicalcar x sesquipedale : both plants flower at roughly the same time. I would guess it would be very hard to tell though. The motherplant could have been cross-polinated by mistake. Did you get the seed from somebody?

It's a nice plant with beautyfull flowers. I get the seeds from someone else.
