UPDATE
Just sniffed it and there is most definitely a scent...not exactly pleasant. It's similar to hyacinths, but with an undertone of mustiness...the tank is pretty pungeont right now, especially because I have my aeranthes in there as well...it's a sweet sickly mix of caramel, butterscotch, and hyacinth.. YUM
