The maker of the Chouara cross has sent me pics and information on the hybrid. I have started a new thread here on it as I think it really belongs under that catagory.

Made by Ron Ciesinski in the 1980s - here's a picture of one blooming now. Smells like the A. magdalenae parent.

I love that plant! Say what you want about the hybridizing frenzy in the orchid industry, but that one is gorgeous! And the magalenae fragrance on top is an additional bonus!

Really pretty one, and yeap the RHS has it as a registered cross. Registered in 2011 so since this thread started.

Really good to see what the flower looks like.
