Default Chiloschista parishii

If I was forced to pick any of my plants that I think is the most interesting, this one would be at the top of the list. Chiloschistas are also known as the "asian Ghost Orchid".

Funny thing about this little guy is that all of the flowers opened at the same time. All were closed this morning, came home, all (but the few on the very tip of the spike) were opened!

Very cool!!

Oooh...Yeah. That's truly beautiful, Dana. Really lovely. The individual flowers are nice, but as a whole, the spike is really fabulous and elegant. Thanks for sharing!!

I love these guys!
unfortunately for me...these also go the way of those cute little Phal species that end up without leaves and flowers, only in this case they don't have any leaves to lose before I kill them!
