Hi...I did a search trying to find an answer to your question, with no definite results! Most of the pictures I found were with the plants potted, but I did find one or two mounted that looked great

It is a mini Tin. The whole plant is maybe a 6" span and the flowers are no more than 1/2" across. Its also blooming on the primary spike that had originally stalled for like 6 months. First spike that bloomed was the 2nd spike formed.....

I had an A. citrata, but I lost it I have heard that this one of few aerangis that would thrive in a pot - that's because of the thin roots. But I am not an expert - and mine citrata died........

Nice display on the citrata!
We grow our aerangis in baskets with one or two chunks of charcoal (still bare root). They hang just under the vandas where they get bright filtered light. Distal buds are susceptible to blast and one year we lost flowers to a field mouse that thought about making his winter home in the greenhouse.
Attached photo is Mani's Star, a hybrid of biloba and citrata. Exceptional bloom this time with five very fragrant inflorescences.

Great looking citrata. Aerangis are one of my favorites.

Many citrata are offered potted, but will do fine mounted if humidity and air movement is sufficient.

Most Aerangis are low light plants. They are found in heavy shade in their african / madagascaran habitats. One of my favorite books is African Orchids in the Wild, and in Cultivation. In it, the authors state that some aerangis are found in areas so shaded, light meters dont even give a reading (ie...Aerangis distincta)

Depending on what type of light source your orchidarium has, id be cautious (if HID or HPS) of their placement. Perhaps low, or stragically under something else so as to provide some shade. The orchidarium should be great for aerangis, based on their compact size and high humidity requirement.
