Does anybody know the light requirements (in footcandles) for an Aeranthes Grandiose 'Shooting Star'? Oak Hill indicates medium to high, while other sites indicates low light. The plant I have was purchased in-spike and the leaf color is med-dark green. To me, this indicates a lower light requirement.
I would think if you got it from Oak Hill they would know what they are talking about. Sorry I can't help you as I don't have any experience with one. I would think that if it is in the vanda family it would require higher not lower light conditions.
I'd go with Ron and oakhill - my grandiflora is medium-high light as well. Dark leaves may indicate a lack of light, actually. It's a great hybrid - hope it grows and blooms for you
