Very nice, Tom. How are you growing yours--temperatures, frequency of waterings, humidity level, etc.? Are the flowers fragrant? I just got one of these recently, and since it's my only aerangis, I'm still in the process of figuring out what it likes and doesn't like. Thanks!

Steve

A fine African example of Aerangis. They are found mostly low in the forest, like ground level, and rarely growing on rocks (lithophytic). Since they are found mostly in gorges and ravines along streams, I would suggest cool temps and lots of pure water. Mounted is best. They are known to be spring flowering (March to April) but in culture that could change. Mainly from Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, and South Africa. Hope this helps with culture. Cool, wet, low temps and pure water.

Thanks Steve

I grow this one mounted on cork under lights in my basement. It is given intermediate tempatures and sprayed daily (never left to dry out completely).
