Angraecum didieri, once again
Here is the fourth blooming of this 'chid since it went into the tank. It actually is blossom 4 and 5 together.
In the first photo, you can see the bud for blossom number five. I'm stating for a fact, this orchid loves humidity and high light.

Ross what a beauty! I really love Angraecum's! Seeing your photo's makes me want to buy more! By the way, I think there is a spike starting on your Amesiella (Angraecum) monticola...or it could be a new growth, only time will tell! I'll keep you posted!

Nice bloom Ross! I love Angraecums also. I have a leonis. Hmmm. I wonder if I need to give it more light. I have it in medium light. No blossoms yet and it's been two and a half years. I just assumed it was too young. I want a bloom like yours!!!!!! Send your magic this way, will ya????

This is an adorable species - looks really well grown too! How long do you find the blooms last?

Ross, I tried it at least two times and always lost the plants after a few years... I'm thinking now that this has happened because I should give it a humid environment, much more than I used to give.

Mauro, your temperature is certainly good, so I would agree humidity may be the culprit.

Way to go Ross! I love this little guy, but I think I might not have enough light to manage it.... we'll see. I have another type of Angraecum that will be blooming size next year. If I can get it to bloom, I think I will think about getting didieri!

Hey Ross, I started fertilizing mine. Hopefully I will get some nice results like yours.
