I don't usually post my pictures because my camera skills are lacking a lot but, I just couldn't resist posting this one. It is my first Angracum type to bloom for me and I'm so proud of it.

It sure was a lesson in patience waiting for the buds to form and then.........eventually open.

Beautiful bloom Marilyn. The way you centered it was a nice touch in my opinion.I'm glad you posted it. Can't cheat us out of your beauties cause you think you lack some foto skills
You might want to have some more space between the orchid and the background, and did you try without the flash?

That's so great! I have the same plant, but have only seen the blooms once, that's when I bought it! What are your growing conditions for this? I've recently moved it into my terrarium with more humidity. Also, before it was potted and the growing roots didn't like it when they reached the edges of the pots and just stopped growing. Hopefully, it'll be better now. Great pic!

Marilyn,

I think that this plant is an absolute beauty...and that your camera skills are fine. I actually like the contrasting blue background with the white flowers arching down the way they do. Fantasticly well grown!
