Default Angraecum sesquipedale/magdalenae

hello there.

I just purchased these 2 plants. They are in rather small 2.5 inch pots and came planted in what looks like a bark medium.

My question: Should I repot them right now?

If not now, how do you grow yours and in what medium? I wanted to grow them outside, possibly in a hanging basket. Thanks for the information.

All my Angraecoids are mounts except for Angraecum didieri which is in fine bark. I don't recommend repotting these right away as they have a habit of sulking when you get them home. I also don't recommend sphagnum or baskets since the roots are typically really thick and white and want to dry out between waterings. Outside would be fine, but I'd opt for bark if you can manage it. Just my two cents.

I have both these plants. I knew the Sesquipedale liked to dry out between waterings, but the Magdalenae I wasn't sure as that one I've just gotten. Thanks Ross, cause I was watering it every other day as I do my Angraecum Leonis. The Leonis gets all shriveled if it goes without water too long. I though Magdalenae was the same. Glad I saw this before doing any damage.
What about the Longiscott?
Also, I have these all in shaded light....not direct. Is that correct?
Sorry PeeWee, I didn't mean to hijack, just wanted growing info also. Oh, and my Magdalenae is also in a 2" pot...very small...and I was told it would be 2 years before blooming. Patience....lots of patience needed.
