The species is locally abundant here in Kenya, specifically on Poison Arrow Trees (Acokanthera spp.). Where they can be found rather light exposed on twigs but also much more in the shade on bigger branches. Enough air movement seems to be key. Flowers once a year.
Wow! Beautiful! It's so great to hear about species from east Africa. There must be a lot of amazing orchid species but they are not well known here in America (not by me anyways). Especially compared to South American species.
