thats why I asked you ! 'cause I have recently been given a Neo mounted on cork ( have the same prob of it floating ...) as well as a - bare root Ascocentrum Minatum ...both of which I am worried about not getting 'enough' humidity...alredy killed a vanda a few years ago...
The Neo hardly had any moss on it so I have added a layer and keeping it in my mini mini self made green house (just a huge water botttle; cut to make a "top" and "bottom " with a deep layer of terracotta pebbles..)to keep humidity 'up'- thanks for your input...
So, to come back to your leaves ...seems like you need to get yours alot more wet & get that humidity up as Ross says !
Have you tried leaving it in the bath longer?
