I wasn't sure where to put this one, Angracoids (which it is) or miniatures (which it also is). I settled on this forum.

It is native to eastern Madagascar, at elevations from 100 - 1800 m. (IOSPE) With that wide range of elevations, it clearly can be grown either hot or cold or anyplace in between as long as it gets adequate humidity/water. And even there, it is very forgiving. It is completely leafless, photosynthesizing with chlorophyll in its roots. Unlike most of the Angraecoids, it ISN'T white!

I grow it outside on my patio, where it experiences winters ranging from approximately 40 deg F/4 deg C to around 75 deg F/24 deg C (occasionally a little higher or lower for short time) and summers from around 68 deg F/20 deg C to 85 deg F/29 deg C (occasionally higher or lower). Humidity is usually around 50% in the middle of the day, but can go down to single digits when the hot dry winds blow. At such times, I water several times during the day, usually it just gets a good bath every morning. I have had it for about a year and a half, and new root growth looks great. This is the first bloom.
