Default Unhappy Aerangis Modesta with spots on leaves

Hi! I'm an orchid newbie and I recently bought a few orchids. This Aerangis Modesta already wasn't in the best shape when it came - very few roots, and a lot of brown/black spots on the leaves.

I keep it mounted, I soak-water it every second day (when the moss is dry) But it looks like its leaves become more and more wrinkled, so maybe I'm doing something wrong? Maybe I should remove the moss, and soak it more often? or even switch to a pot with some coarse substrate?

It has a small new root growing, though.

It is very dehydrated. It can be difficult to take up enough water with few roots in a lower humidity home environment. It is capable of growing more roots, so it can recover. I find it difficult to keep mounted plants alive inside my home.

I think the spots are scratches or the result of dehydration.

Air humidity at my home is pretty high - about 70% right now, and even higher in summer. I have a propagation box with higher (around 80%) humidity and a bit warmer than my house, would it be better off there?

Yes, it would prefer that. In general Aerangis prefer to be wet, then dry rapidly.

I have to water my mounted orchids every day even when they are outside on a very humid day.

I started misting it more, and it's actively growing two new roots besides smaller ones, which I think is a good sign.

Unfortunately I'm afraid I've further damaged the leaves with copper-based fungicide (I applied it because I was worried about spots on leaves and read it could possibly be fungi), but what's done is done ( Hopefully it will recover
