I've heard that this particular species does not like being disturbed and re-potted. Any advise, and/or suggestions (growing tips) from your personal experience?
The advice you heard is very correct. Repotting is very tricky when plant is young, doesn't not like disturbance. I nearly lost this plant 2 or 3 times because of it. Probably best to Over pot a little so time between disturbance is limited. This now in a 6 inch mesh basket pot, I have no intention of moving it any more. I'm now treating it more like a mounted plant. Very regular watering & feeding with good bright light but not to burn.
That is a beautiful display. I absolutely love the leaves and growth habit on this one, it’s definitely my favorite Angraecum species. Mine has been limping along for almost 2 years now. At this point I’m just waiting for it to die, lol. I slowly lost one of my three growths earlier this year and I can’t seem to keep it hydrated or the roots happy in its basket. Might try to repot as a last ditch effort but I definitely need to rethink my setup for my next one
