I don't think we compiled the list. I suppose we could and that would probably be a good idea, as the thread has so many posts, it would be a chore to read through. Is there a way that I, say, could create said sticky or is that an admin privilege, only?

Hey tindomul, thanks for the reply on my paph question. The one you have pictured in your vivarium is real beauty, to bad it hasnt bloomed again since you put it in there :((. What do you have living in there tree frogs? Which brings me to my next question, do you or anyone else looking in know of any orchid's that will bloom with realitive ease inside a vivarium with temps ranging from 70-75 degrees daytime 65-70 degrees night time temps, florecent lighting, and high humidity (70-90%). I'd even be willing to mount them to a small piece of cork bark and take them out of the tank if the require a dry or cool period to flower. I've been looking into some miniature and dwarf species that wount get to big for my 50 gal I'm about to setup, but would just really appreciate some insite from the pros (yeah I'm talking to you tind). Dosent have to be exclusively orchids either, but just any plants that you really enjoy and seem to thrive in your viv's. In my current 20 gallon I have a very basic set up with just some java moss on coco substrate above a hydro ball false bottom, small gravel water pool at one end, 2 ferns, a brom mounted to a peice of drift wood, and a cocunut hut for a little hiding spot. I've Been thinking about switching moss types as I would like a darker colored moss that is a little less prone to rot than java. Any input to what you have had success with would be very much appreciated. Sorry that I can't upload any pics digi cam broke and I'm short on cash while I'm building my 50 gal. Also sorry for hijacking this forum and turning it into a dart frog forum, but most of the people on the dart frog forums know amphibians not plants.

Tinmodul I am not, but I will take a crack at your inquiry. My terraria are successfully supporting:

Lepanthopsis astrophora 'Stalky'
Pleurothallis ornata
Angraecum distichum
Platystele stenostachya
Pleurothallis palliolata
Pleurothallis grobyi
an unknown species of Pleuro
and...drum roll, please....:drum:
a beautiful, blooming Lepanthes calodictyon. :llama:

They all grow and bloom under fluorescent lights (the compact types - 60 W equivalent). The temps stay between high 60's and low 80's and the humidity is supplied by my ever powerful hand held spray mister (that also doubles as a cat behavior modification device :evil:). Because my terraria are small (2.5 gallon hex tanks), I have stuck to the tinier plants. The tank size has the added advantage of ease of temp and humidity level maintenance. I fear, as I move into my 20 gallon Christmas gift, adjustments will have to be made! Good growing to you.:waving

I've been very successful with Masd. Sunset Jaguar 'Night Breed' AM/AOS and 'Psychadelic Sunset' HCC/AOS. 'Night Breed' has been in bloom constantly since March, and 'Psychadelic Sunset was out of bloom for about a week at one point.
Porroglossums seem to do very well - meridionale is usually in bloom and hirtzii would have been if I hadn't broken off some spikes... Scaphosepalums are growing well and spiking, but have not bloomed yet. Lepanthes are also growing quite well, but aren't established well enough yet to start blooming.
