My 12"x12"x18"(tall) terrarium seems to be doing well with the new lighting and I'm getting things stabilized pretty well. I'm looking for a flowering plant that has some height 10-14" max (orchid preferred but not mandatory)....Anyone want to throw out suggestions?...

Side note Schlumbergera (Christmas Cactus) seem to enjoy terrarium conditions.

Small Anthuriums can be everblooming. Crossandra. Sinningia. Streptocarpus.

Schlumbergera are moist forest epiphytes that would be expected to do well in a terrarium. Blooming is triggered by lengthening fall nights. Turning on an electric light just one night will prevent blooming. Their close relatives Rhipsalidopsis (Easter cactus) look very similar vegetatively. Their flowers are borne similarly to Schlumbergera, and are similarly colored, but are radially symmetric rather than zygomorphic. Rhipaslidopsis flower in spring, and are not sensitive to night length.
