Need help getting my 29gal going again

I used to have the following setup, and had great results until we moved.

29gal, Led light fixture. False bottom with a waterfall down the sidewall.
Growth was great, lots of blooms, but had to sell when I moved.

Bought another 29gal and have the same light.
Do LED's go bad over time?
I built a false bottom again, but this tank has no water feature. My orchids are basically dying in the tank.

I am thinking I need to up the humidity, I cant always mist everyday, sometimes once a week.

Any suggestions?

LED output can decrease with use, but would not have changed during the time it was unused.

How long have the orchids been in the new tank? It would take a few months for low light to cause any visible problems other than lack of growth. Is there any natural light at all?

Do you have any way measuring temperature and humidity? If not, that's a high priority both for long term health of plants and determining what the problem may be. Do you have a fan for internal air movement? How open is the tank to outside air? Tightly covering the tank would hold humidity but a fan for circulation would be a necessity.

You can buy a piece of plastic grating used in ceiling recessed fluorescent light boxes, and cut it to fit the bottom of your tank. Set the pots on that and have a thin layer of water on the bottom.

Put a jar in there with water and an aquarium air stone. The bubbling will evaporate quite a bit of water.

Although the setup is down now I had good success with sheets of EcoWeb used as a background with a spraybar fed by a pump on a timer.

Almost 2 years now, most died.
I bought a temp/humidity meter
No natural light, and in the previous good tank there was no natural light either.

i have the egg crate on the bottom with screen over the top.
That is my false bottom.
I had no water under it, I was just misting the surface of the plants once per week.

I just added a layer of water to the bottom.
