Classified Ad Growing chids in an Orchidarium

I'm new to this site signed on this month and am really excited to learn all I can about orchids and growing them in an enclosed environment. My orchidarium hopefully will arrive this week no patience at all... I have a small collection of 24 orchids Phals, Dens, Catts and I think a Brsdm. not sure on the last one its a NOID and I purchased it with no flowers so it will be a surprise if and when it blooms . My first orchid was a Phal. that now stands 27" tall (with flower spike and has a leaf span of 19" its a beauty.

Will submit photo's when it arrives.

Welcome to the dark side! One Orchidarium leads to 2, which leads to 3 as you get more confident. I am waiting to see the pics.

Sheridan, I hear ya! Every morning I carefully check over all the 'chids in the tank to see if there are changes overnight . Right now I have 35 different plants in mine. Most are mounts, but a few in sphagnum net pots (like the Jewells).

BTW, I think I already told you in an earlier thread but I moved here from KFalls working for the US Forest Service. I'm retired now. You live in one of the most beautiful parts of the country in my opinion. Wish I were still out there (maybe not KFalls, but somewhere on the east side out of all the rain and into the sun )
