Default How do you fertilize?

I was wondering how you guys fertilize your terrarium grown orchids? Mine have been growing in the terrarium for a few months now. I have two in bloom. My Phal. Cassandra only has one bloom and the NoID Phal has two blooms. I have them being misted for 5 minutes every morning at 9am. They are grown under 4 - 23 Watt CFL "daylight" bulbs. I've been growing under CFLs for at least 9 years and have never had an issue with blooming orchids. I mounted all the orchids, except one, when I set up the terrarium. I wonder if they are recovering from the shock of being newly mounted from pots? They all have good strong root growth and have new plant growth.
So, how do you guys fertilize? Do you put a weak mix in the reservoir? Or, do you manually mist with a fert mix in a bottle?

Thanks!
Amanda

I grow miniatures for the most part and everything in my terrariums are miniature. I don't use a misting system, I mist daily and add fertilizer weekly. Any potted plants are only mist/watered every other day and all mounts are done every day.

I mix my fertilizer into a hand spray. Sometimes I use a solid fertilizer which I get from the Bovees nursery. Just take a few pinches and blow into the tank, lands everywhere like dust. Works well. Because it's a closed system I fertilize only few times a year. For the rest of it I depend on decomposers.
