Rubbermaid Terrarium
I was thinking of using a Rubbermaid or Sterilite storage bin, as a DIY terrarium for miniature orchids that need high humidity.
What could I do to the lid, so that it lets light in, and I could adjust the ventilation to get the right humidity?
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Rather than a Rubbermaid tub, see if you can pick up an old aquarium at a thrift store. You can make a lid for it out of a sheet of plexiglass, or get an aquarium hood that has LED or fluorescent lights.

Whenever I drive by a yard sale I glance to see whether they have any aquaria.

I got my terrarium from Craigslist. I see a lot of aquariums on there too.
