Terarium light
Default

I bought some UHOP LED modules from dusk.se just over a year ago and my orchids are doing very well. I have my Aerangis (requires around 2000 foot candles) about 6 inches from the lights and grow my Porroglossum and Pleurothallis about 15 inches away and they all seem to be doing well.

My terrarium is quite small, I previously had 50W of CFLs which were replaced with 15W of UHOP LEDs. They produce very little heat and being modules can be arranged to fit awkward spaces which was important for my needs.

They also sell LED panels and strips for larger terrariums though I can't comment on how effective these are.
