Ah! Again though, that could happen whether they are chewing on bones, toys, sticks, and whatnot. Unfortunately, you can't watch the "kids" all the time.

While the bumpers do come in some different sizes, the ones I'm thinking of are usually less than 0.5 inches in diameter. Also, they're circular and rounded -- lacking any sharp edges or corners.
