If you need ideas on what type of orc's to use, I just posted a list of orchids that do well in terrariums/vivarium's in the Terrarium Forum; many members submitted names of orchids they had tried in Terrarium settings and provided the names - I compiled them and they are now a Sticky on the Terr. Forum.

Wow- I would have sworn I was on another page!!! - Sorry, as you are obviously ON the Terrarium forum currently, so you probably know about the list of names. Senior moment there, I guess. Again, hope you can get some use out of the great names that the other members provided.

Well, if you keep your terrarium around 15-20C (not sure what it is in F) the you can grow a ton of orchids. I find Andy's orchids and Seattle orchids always indicate temperature variations on their listings. Ecuagenera often brings orchids to shows and you can order them online... it's an extra 2$ per orchid for CITIES and phyto certificates.

I can't buy from these Andy's or Seattle because they are in a different country but I use their sites to gather information.

make sure you have a back up power , just in case your ac goes out.. I lost a lot of plants this summer ... expensive ones too. in the 100 dollar range.per plant
